Mindful Movement Practice
Our Approach

Souls in Training is a growing collective rooted in the belief that movement, mindfulness, and science can transform individual and community well-being. Founded by Dr. Yuliana Soto—whose work bridges brain health, movement science, and mindfulness—Souls in Training offers practical, evidence-based tools guided by compassion, lived experience, and inclusivity.
We center the whole person by integrating research, community-based interventions, and wellness education that empower individuals through reflection, physical activity, and intentional care. At our core, we believe healing is most powerful when nurtured in community.
While Souls in Training began with Dr. Soto’s vision, we are expanding to include international professionals in health psychology, movement, mindfulness, and nutrition. We invite you to grow with us—through meaningful connection and trusted partnerships that honor both science and soul.
The Heart Behind the Work
Mental Health Matters
Suicide is the third leading cause of death among people aged 15–29 worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. This underscores the critical need for accessible, preventive mental health strategies—like mindfulness, movement, and emotional regulation tools—that support youth well-being.

With over 5 million deaths each year preventable through physical activity, researchers are asking: should movement be considered a human right? Recognizing physical activity as a human right means ensuring everyone has the freedom, opportunity, and access to move their bodies for health and well-being.

Lasting change begins at the ground level—when communities are equipped with knowledge, tools, and trust. Health advocacy isn’t just about information; it’s about empowerment, connection, and building spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
